The Light Space is a photography training program for survivors of human trafficking and those vulnerable to trafficking and gender based violence.
The goal of the program is to teach photography as a tool for empowerment and self expression. The training program is an educational experience that focuses on healing through photography, practical skills to take into the workplace, and real world experience in photography as a potential career.
Both local and international instructors are on faculty.
The Light Space is a partnership between US based fine art photographer, Brooke Shaden and non-profit organization, Blossomy Project, who together co-founded The Light Space.
TLS is an independent program of Blossomy Project.
